Francesca M. Bosco is the coordinator of the Unit of Turin within a PRIN project - 2015 (coordinated by Valentina Bambini), aimed at exploring pragmatic abilities in a lifespan perspective and clinical population; moreover, the project aims at developing training tools to improve and enhance communicative-pragmatic skills. 
 
She is coordinator of the research Group on Inferential Processes in Social Interaction (GIPSI) at the Department of Psychology, University of Turin

Main Research Fields
  • Development of pragmatic ability along the lifespan
  • Decay of pragmatic ability in aging
  • Pragmatic deficit in clinical populations, both neurological (traumatic brain injury) and psychiatric (autism and schizophrenia)
  • Interplay among pragmatics, executive functions and theory of mind along the development, during aging, as well as in neurological and clinical conditions
  • Rehabilitation of pragmatic deficit in clinical populations (traumatic brain injury, schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorder)
  • Neural correlate underlying pragmatic ability
  • Cross-cultural comparison of pragmatic ability
